Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp
Lately I've been getting a lot of questions asking "What is Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp exactly?"
So I want to share with you exactly what Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp is and how it may or may not benefit you.
What is Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp and is it worth it?
Usually you try to find something that you are passionate about and love, like a hobby or something that you have a fair amount of knowledge about, that you can share with others.
Choosing a niche can be very difficult for some people and they may get hung up on that part.
You know, the typical Analysis Paralysis syndrome, where someone overthinks and over analyzes a situation for so long that they become paralyzed and get nothing done.
Here's the deal:
If you have a hard time coming up with a niche for your website, you can choose Affiliate Marketing as your niche.
That means that you could create a website promoting Wealthy Affiliate and that is where Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp comes in.
There are actually two different modes of training available when you join Wealthy Affiliate.
- One is called the Online Entrepreneur Certification training and it is a 5 phase (50 lesson) series of courses walking you through the process of creating and growing a business within absolutely ANY niche that you want.
- The other is called Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp and it is a 7 Phase (70 lesson) series of courses walking you through the process of creating and establishing a business in a niche related to the promotion of Wealthy Affiliate.
I'm sure that you have seen the posts online claiming that Wealthy is a scam, well they base their claim on the fact that Wealthy Affiliate trains people to promote Wealthy Affiliate through the Bootcamp.
These marketers just use the keyword, "Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam?" to get traffic and push readers to spend money on another program.
This is pretty unscrupulous and one of the reasons that I started this website.
To get the truth out there and compete with the false, negative reviews.
In reality, relatively few members go through the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp and promote Wealthy Affiliate.
It has become an over saturated niche and is much more difficult to make money at than it used to be.
There are still students that make some sales and can earn a couple hundred dollars a month, but most of the big earners (making thousands a month) are the people that have been at Wealthy Affiliate for a long time.
Even if you look at all of the Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories, most of them have multiple streams of income from different websites in many different niches.
One of my favorite success stories is Nathaniel.
Nathaniel went through Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp and promotes WA, but that is just a small portion of his online business.
He also went through the whole Wealthy Affiliate program and has many different websites in many different niches, like home brewing beer and I think he has a website about lawn sprinklers, roasting coffee at home and others.
A popular misconception about Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp is that you have to use it to promote Wealthy Affiliate.
What does Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp Teach?
Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp teaches you how to build a website and business in the Affiliate Marketing Niche.
You don't have to use it to promote Wealthy Affiliate, you can use the knowledge that you gain to promote any program or course or training in the affiliate marketing space.
Let's take a look at the exact training modules inside Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp.
- Phase One is Getting Your Business Rolling and is 10 lessons designed to help you build the foundation of your online business. Click on this link to view the 10 lessons!
- Phase Two is all about Content, Keywords and Conversions. Phase two is all about learning to create readable, high quality content That people are looking for and how to make that content convert.

- Phase Four - Get Visual. Get Aesthetic. Phase four is all about learning that appearance matters. Learn about website design, media, videos, logos and more.
- Phase 5 - Knowing Your Audiences & Catapulting Your Referrals. This phase is all about how to really know and understand your audience. Once you really know who they are, it becomes much easier to convert them into customers!
- Phase 6 - Bing, Yahoo, & The Power of PPC. In this phase you you are going to learn about how you can leverage the "other search engines" in order to drive traffic to your site. Most people don't realize that Yahoo and Bing still own about 30% of the search engine market share.
- Phase 7 - How to Scale Successful PPC Campaigns. The last phase of raining is focused on finding your PPC campaigns that are profitable and scaling them to really ramp up your earnings.
As you can see the Bootcamp is pretty comprehensive and well presented.
It starts with creating a solid foundation for your business and then building on that foundation with sound principles that have been proven to work.
What I Like
What I like about Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp is that it offers really solid training on how to build a real business in the affiliate marketing niche.
It is great for beginners, but I had over 9 years of affiliate marketing experience when I went through the Bootcamp and I learned A LOT!
If you decide to go through Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp, you are going to be spending a lot of time researching and writing reviews.
I enjoy going through online trainings and writing reviews.
I always join the program that I am going to review, so that I can give my readers real insight into the program that I am reviewing.
Yes, it gets expensive!
But it is the only way to write real online reviews and it is very obvious when someone writes a review about a product or program that they are not familiar with.
I've been in affiliate marketing long enough, that I no longer look at it as expensive. I consider the money that I spend on products and programs to review as investments.
They are investments into my online business that will continue to pay me a return.
I also like the Wealthy Affiliate Affiliate program, so let's discuss that in a little more detail.
Wealthy Affiliate Affiliate Program
The training will teach you how to promote any affiliate marketing product, but most bootcampers promote Wealthy Affiliate.
The Wealthy Affiliate affiliate program is a good one, paying you recurring commissions as long as your referrals stay members.
If you are a premium member, (and you should be, if you are going to promote the program) you make $8 commission for the first month and $23.50 for each month after that.
You also make $175 every time one of your referrals takes the yearly program.
This is a big money maker for me when they run the Black Friday Special.
I promote the yearly in a big way, helping my clients get huge Wealthy Affiliate discounts.
You can also make small commissions when your referrals set up their profiles and when they buy domain names, but these are very small.
Wealthy Affiliate commissions are paid to your PayPal account on the first of every month.
I love waking up on the first of the month!
What I Don't Like
What I don't like about the bootcamp is the way most bootcampers promote Wealthy Affiliate by publishing false or misleading reviews about other programs.
Listen, I'm all about exposing programs for what they are, but I will never speak poorly of a quality program to promote a different one.
I promote Wealthy Affiliate because I truly believe it is one of the best affiliate marketing training programs out there, but I also promote other programs that I believe in.
I started my affiliate marketing career at Solo Build It. I got a ton of value from SBI and while I believe that WA is better, I think Solo Build it is still good for a lot of my readers and I still promote it today!
Many bootcampers take the stance that you promote WA at all costs and claim other programs to be not worth your time.
That is probably my biggest gripe.
Does It Work?
Yes, Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp Works!
There are many success stories and I will give you an example.
Open another tab in your browser and Google, Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories.
Yes, that is my article at the top of the Google results and it sends me tons of free, targeted traffic to my website.
Try it again with, Wealthy Affiliate Discount.
Yep, that's me too.
This is all the result of things that I learned in Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp.
Any keyword or phrase that has Wealthy Affiliate in it will return Google results from someone that has gone through bootcamp.
That is real, quantifiable proof that Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp works!
The issue is that it only works for some of the people that are using it.
I will explain more below...
Should You Go Through Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp?
It all depends on where you are in your affiliate marketing career.
I don't recommend that you go through bootcamp if you are a complete beginner.
Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp is designed to teach you how to build a business in the affiliate marketing niche.
Affiliate marketing is a very competitive niche.
What this means is that it is very difficult to get your content to rank on Google so that you can get free organic traffic to your website.
I'm not saying that you can't do it.
I'm saying that there are much easier niches that you should start your career in.
I believe that Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp is much better suited to someone that has a successful website or two under their belt and is ready to take on a more competitive niche.
That was me, when I came to Wealthy Affiliate.
I had built 2 successful websites at Solo Build It before I found WA, one in the deer hunting niche and one in the travel niche.
I already had significant experience in affiliate marketing and website building, so Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp was a natural for me.
I'm not sure that I would have had the same success if I went through bootcamp without all of my prior knowledge and experience.
I'm not trying to scare you away, I still think that you should join Wealthy Affiliate.
You should go through the Online Entrepreneur Certification and build a website or two in a niche that you are passionate about, until you start to see some success.
I'll be honest,
Building a real online business is hard.
There is no easy way.
It is work, every single day and if you aren't passionate about your subject, you are going to burn out very quickly and give up.
That being said, I can tell you without hesitation that there is nothing that I would rather be doing for a living.
It is very rewarding.
But if you don't like what you are doing, it just becomes a job and you will lose interest.
Here's What I Recommend
If you are a beginner, go here and join Wealthy Affiliate.
It is free to get started, with no credit card required.
Get inside and I will greet you and help you with anything that you need.
Go through the Online Entrepreneur Certification.
- Learn how to build a website.
- Learn how to promote your website.
- Learn how to monetize your website.
- Learn the importance of keyword research.
- Learn how to produce content that ranks at the top of search results.
Once you have a website that is getting traffic and beginning to make money, then you should go through the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp.
But only if you have an interest in the affiliate marketing niche!
That is the key to building your online business.
You have to choose a niche that you can work on and create content within every single day, without getting bored.
